Ms. Srijana Nepal
MERL Manager, The Asia Foundation
Ms. Srijana Nepal is the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) Manager at The Asia Foundation in Kathmandu. She is a seasoned development professional and researcher with 13 years of experience in managing and participating in MERL activities for programs focused on anti-trafficking, subnational governance, environmental justice, peacebuilding, paid and unpaid work, as well as earthquake response and recovery.
In her role as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Manager for The Asia Foundation’s Nepal office, she spearheads the organization’s efforts in knowledge management and learning related to its programs. Srijana also provides leadership and coordinates with MERL teams across multiple projects. She has been instrumental in designing and managing research projects and developing knowledge products that encompass quantitative and qualitative assessments, political economy analysis, and data analysis.
Furthermore, Srijana represents the Foundation at both national and international forums and engages with donors to disseminate research findings. She has authored several publications on topics ranging from governance and gender to civil society and post-earthquake recovery in Nepal. With her wealth of experience and expertise, she continues to make significant contributions to The Asia Foundation’s mission.
